The National Eagle Scout Association takes pride in providing scholarships to support your ongoing educational journey.
Qualification Criteria
- Only Eagle Scouts who are members of the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
- Eagle Scouts can start applying for NESA scholarships from their senior high school year up to their junior year in an undergraduate program, or until they reach the midpoint of their associate degree or vocational training program.
- A NESA scholarship can only be awarded to a recipient once.
- NESA scholarships are open to Eagle Scouts who are either currently enrolled or have been accepted as full-time students (minimum of 12 credit hours) in an accredited educational institution, pursuing an academic degree (including associate degrees) or a vocational training program.
- Recipients of the Cooke four-year scholarship must be full-time students (minimum of 12 credit hours) in an accredited four-year college or university, pursuing a bachelor's degree.
- Students attending any of the U.S. military academies are not eligible for NESA scholarships.
- Graduate students pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree are not eligible for NESA scholarships.
Application Schedule
Eagle Board of Review Date:
The date must be on or before January 24, 2026.
Opening of Application Portal:
The portal will be open from December 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
Deadline for Application Completion and Submission:
Applications must be completed and submitted by 11:59 p.m. CST on January 31, 2026.
Scholarship Awards Announcement:
The announcement will be made on June 10, 2026. The National Eagle Scout Association is delighted to provide scholarships to support your ongoing educational journey.
