Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship

The Kaiser Family Foundation reports that youngsters devote an average of 7.5 hours daily to media consumption, excluding the time spent on computers for academic purposes. Given the omnipresence of technology, disconnecting can be difficult. However, taking a hiatus from technology is beneficial for mental and physical health. Eligibility Criteria:
The scholarship is open to high school students from freshman to senior year, as well as current or incoming college or graduate students at any level. Home-schooled students are also welcome to apply. There is no age restriction. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents. The application deadline is January 30, 2025.
Application Process:
Fill out the application form and include a 140-character message about technology addiction. The top 10 applications will be shortlisted as finalists. These finalists will then be required to write a comprehensive essay of 500 to 1,000 words on technology addiction.
Winner Selection:
The 10 finalists will be chosen based on the content of their 140-character message. The winner will be determined by the content and originality of their 500- to 1,000-word essay.
