Overview
This $1,000 Career Scholarship is awarded each year to a public high school senior who is a dependent of a current ISTA member. Recipients may apply to renew the award for up to three consecutive years, provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria and submit the required transcript each year.
Who may apply
- Public high school seniors who are dependents of active ISTA members.
Award and renewal
- Amount: $1,000, granted annually.
- Renewal: The scholarship can be renewed for three consecutive years if the student continues to satisfy eligibility requirements and provides the necessary documentation.
Selection factors
Applicants are evaluated on demonstrated academic success, leadership in co-curricular activities, and engagement in community service. Submission of an essay and letters of recommendation are also required as part of the evaluation.
