Price Benowitz Social Justice Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Price Benowitz
INTRODUCTION
Price Benowitz Accident Injury Lawyers, LLP, based in our nation’s capital, centers social justice within its mission. We believe everyone — regardless of economic background — should have equitable access to education, opportunities for personal growth, and the chance to participate in civic life.
Our country’s history includes many landmark social justice struggles — from the women’s suffrage movement to the civil rights era to present-day efforts to include people of all races, faiths, and sexual orientations — yet substantial work remains. Until equal access to rights, services, and opportunities is truly universal, committed people must continue advocating for those with fewer resources.
To help advance this mission, the firm annually awards a scholarship to a student who has shown exceptional dedication to social justice and community service. Education is a cornerstone for durable social change, and we are proud to support the academic pursuits of individuals working to make their communities fairer and more inclusive. This year’s scholarship award of $2,000 is focused on raising awareness about the everyday challenges faced by people with disabilities.
