Eligibility

Eligibility: Applicants must be legal residents of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and enrolled in a vocational program or a two- to four-year post-secondary institution, or be current high school, vocational, college, or graduate students. Candidates must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be in good academic standing. Employees of Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin, their immediate family members, and household members of such employees are ineligible. Preference will be given to students from or attending secondary school in the state.

Application Requirements

Application Requirements: Applicants must complete the scholarship application form and submit a 750–1,000-word essay describing their military experience or upbringing as the child of a veteran and how it has influenced their goals and aspirations. All essays will be checked for AI-generated content; applications with detected AI writing will be denied. Candidates must also submit a professional résumé and a transcript from their current school; first-year college students, recent transfers, and graduate students may submit an unofficial current transcript plus the most recent official transcript from their prior school, and high school applicants may provide proof of college acceptance.
