Elkhart County Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Elkhart County Community Foundation
Intro
Each year the Community Foundation of Elkhart County awards more than $2.5 million in scholarships to help local students continue their education. Whether your next step is a four‑year college, community college, trade school, or another postsecondary program, these funds are intended to make that transition more attainable.
Who is eligible
Students who meet all of the following may apply:
- Current high school seniors, high school graduates, or holders of a GED
- Planning to enroll in an accredited college, university, or vocational/trade program
- Residents of Elkhart County
- Intending to begin studies in the upcoming academic year
A broad range of applicants is encouraged. Individual scholarships have specific requirements, and many awards consider factors beyond GPA and test scores — we want to learn about your background and goals.
How the application works
The online application opens on January 1 and stays available through March 1 each year. By submitting one application, you will be considered for more than 90 scholarship opportunities.
We use a single, centralized application system. After you build your profile, the system will match you to scholarships for which you qualify — there is no need to submit separate applications for each award.
