Developed through Anthony and his family’s passion to help deserving students reach their dream of attending a local college or university, the Foundation’s Scholarship Fund awards multiple $20,000 scholarships to select Tri-State high school seniors.

REQUIRED INFORMATION

Students are interviewed and chosen based on their financial need, academic achievement, ability to overcome adversity and their ambition to succeed.

Students must include the following in their application:

• Anthony Muñoz Foundation Scholarship Application Form
• Personal Essay
• Acceptance Letter from intended College or University-if available
• College or University Student ID Number-if available
• High School Transcript for entirety of high school career, up to date of application submission
• Current Family Financial Information, including Student Aid Report [SAR] from student’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid [FAFSA] account.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Recipients of the Anthony Muñoz Scholarship Fund must meet several requirements to apply for this scholarship.

 This includes but is not limited to:

• Attend a high school in the Foundation’s Area of Impact.
• Attending an eligible Tri-State college or university with a freshman status Fall 2025. Is your school not listed? Check our list of Ineligible Schools.
• Display a desire to overcome adversity and demonstrate a financial need.

Applicants Must:

1. Be a graduating high school senior with a minimum 3.0 grade point average or a minimum composite ACT score of 18
2. Attend a high school in the Tri-State region, defined as the counties of:
   1. Kentucky  Boone; Bracken; Campbell; Gallatin; Grant; Kenton
   2. Indiana  Dearborn; Franklin; Ohio; Switzerland; Union
   3. Ohio  Brown; Butler; Clermont; Clinton; Greene; Hamilton; Highland; Montgomery; Preble; Warren
3. Have freshman standing by the fall of 2024
4. Be a student entering an accredited Tri-State college or university  see list of eligible schools
5. Demonstrate a desire and intent to overcome adversity, have financial need excel academically, and fulfill a leadership role in the community
6. Interview with member(s) of the Anthony Muñoz Foundation Scholarship Fund selection committee if chosen as finalist
7. Attend the award ceremony on Sunday, June 9, 2024 in Mason, OH
8. Complete, and submit to the Anthony Muñoz Foundation, all required materials within the stated deadlines for consideration of the award
9. If chosen as a winner, must maintain full-time student status and cumulative grade point average above 2.5
