Introduction
Since 1976, Ventura County California Women for Agriculture (VC-CWA) has been committed to empowering women in the agricultural sector through engagement, education, and leadership development. From hands-on work in the fields to leadership roles in decision-making spaces, VC-CWA members actively shape the county’s agricultural future as they respond to increasing urbanization and the global need for dependable food, fuel, and fiber.
Purpose
Looking ahead, VC-CWA is proud to invest in the next generation of agricultural leaders. By supporting local students pursuing education and careers connected to agriculture, the organization seeks to nurture talent that will sustain and advance Ventura County’s farming community.
2026 Scholarship Awards
For the 2026 scholarship cycle, VC-CWA will award four scholarships of $2,000 each. These awards are intended for Ventura County students who are either high school seniors or currently enrolled in an accredited university, community college, or vocational/trade program with a focus on agriculture or related fields.
